A native of East Tennessee, David Boyd grew up in the shadows of the Great Smoky Mountains in Blount County, Tennessee.

After serving his country in the United States Marine Corps and participating in Operations Desert Shield and Storm, Mr. Boyd obtained his Bachelors Degree at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee and subsequently attended law school at The Nashville School of Law.

After obtaining his Doctorate of Jurisprudence, Mr. Boyd returned to East Tennessee to practice law. He has been in practice for more than 10 years.

Mr. Boyd's practice is focused entirely on litigation.
